Hello there !
Thank you for visiting my site and taking the time to view my images. I am a lifestyle, family and wedding photographer and I LOVE what I do! I am based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa; however, I will travel anywhere for a wedding or an equestrian shoot.
I love shooting in natural environments from forests to beaches. I love sunshine, wild flowers and sun-dappled forests. My style is a mix of fine art and documentary. I capture naturally beautiful and romantic moments as they happen. I don’t force things, and the results are photographs as unique and beautiful as you are. My aim is to capture the essence of the moment, so you can feel the love between the couples, families and animals in my photographs…. however, I also aim to capture those fun quirky spontaneous moments that come up unexpectedly. My clients often tell me that they feel very comfortable in front of my camera.
I come from a creative arty family and I have always been invovled in creative arts. Growing up on a small holding, in Port Elizabeth, I’d be either riding horses or making somthing out of clay in my mothers pottery studio. I attended an art school, and later studied for my National Diploma in Photography at NMMU. I have since moved on from developing my own film, to digital photography. I photographed my first wedding in 1996 and after shooting hundreds of weddings over the years I still love every single moment. I have grown up riding horses and my love and passion for horses now collaborates with my photography business where I photograph anything from equestrian portraiture to equestrian brands.
It has been an awesome experience to capture life’s journey for ongoing clients, as they began from a simple couples shoot, to their engagments, wedding, maternity, babies and families… That’s what I’m here to do for you !
…and finally, I can’t go without giving credits to my beautiful little family…I wouldn’t be half the person I am today without the support of my amazing Husband and best friend Andre, and our two awesome little girls, Summer and Tallulah. I love you more than most !!!!
